A huge thank you to everyone who came to the show at Mother Popcorn in Hommachi on May 31st!! The club was packed with friends and newcomers, full of excitement and positive vibrations! The band and I really appreciated your enthusiasm and we had a wonderful time on stage.

I’d also like to thank my wonderful promoter, Fabio Viola, who outdid himself in spreading the news about the show. I hope to see you all again soon!

Special thanks to the guest performers, who did a fantastic job opening the show! Mamico Sugaya wowed the audience with her very original Buyou (Japanese dance), set to the song, “Soba ni iru yo” by Teruma Aoyama (who happens to trace her ancestry back to my country, Trinidad and Tobago!). Mamico then surprised the audience by throwing off her kimono to transform into a Japanese-Arabian princess, seducing the audience with her beautiful belly-dancing.

Kento, the promising rock band from Shin-Osaka, followed Mamico’s sensuous dancing with some energetic playing. Thanks especially to Yudai, the very talented young guitarist of the group.

I’ll be doing more of these events in the future, so stay tuned!!
